Summer.

I am pleased to say that the Nest-y feeling i had, (and still have), has hatched. I have been busy creating nests and homes for nests lately. Something about Spring, a time to clean and sort out our Nest perhaps.

Baskets

Thoughts for April

Take a look at all the things you currently recycle. Look at them again and see if you can use them again before you recycle.
Perhaps you have a collection of buttons you use for sewing. Those empty glass jars would be perfect. Perhaps you could help the kids sort them into colours on a rainy day.
 
What about your envelopes and junk mail? You could put those in a bucket with water and make paper pulp. With this you can make your own paper, or even sculpture with glue and wire.

Thoughts for April

Hello to you all.
 
I love that we recycle, and that we have recycling bins.
What motivates me to re-use before I recycle?
It takes energy to recycle - electricity, gas, fuel, transport. This energy was used in the creation of things.
If we re-use and re-use stuff as much as we can before we recycle, we are helping reduce the impact they have.
