I am very lucky to live in a beautiful place called Penguin. Nestled along the coast of the North West of Tasmania, near by, but not too close to two cities. A nice little town whose main street is 'just over from the beach'. My children can swim or walk on the beach every afternoon. Town is a short walk away from home, and we have many great small business that offer most things you really need, ie, a great coffee shop, gift shop with local work and choices of supermarkets.



I am always happy ...

Home school community weaving project

A lovely day was had with a group of the North West Coast Home school families. The day; a lovely autumn morning, was crisp and frosty. We all wound our way out to Prue and Ono's house, through farmland and forest.  I was greeted by happy children working in the veggie garden, surrounded by chickens. Parents and children arrived full of energy and enthusiasm.

The great Penguin Organic Festival is on again this year. It is on Sunday the 27th of March at the Organic Growing Centre in Penguin.( Find this past the schools and sports centre in penguin on Ironcliffe Road.)
